Texas Vacation Part 5: Shopping

While Nick was at work the girls went shopping! First we drove just north of Austin to visit Archiver's! Here we are in front of the store with our purchases.

Next stop, Prime Outlets in San Marcos, Texas. There are a ton of fun outlet stores in San Marcos and we had a lot of fun exploring the fun stores.

This is a pic of the Coach store at the outlets. We found lots of cute purses that were over priced and so instead of buying them we just took pics with them and pretended like they were ours for a few minutes. It hit the spot and prevented us from spending our paychecks there.

Jenn is just chilling in a big egg chair at the Pottery Barn/William and Sonoma outlet.

The next day we visited La Cantera mall just a few minutes from Nick and Katelyn's house. The mall was another open air mall- here is a pic of the pretty walkways.

The reason for going to La Cantera was to get Katelyn's elephant stuffed. She received the elephant as a gift a while ago but was mailed to her without stuffing so we had fun at Build a Bear getting Charlie all stuffed up.

That concludes the shopping experiences we had in Texas!

Texas Vacation Part 4: Alamo

You can't complete a trip to San Antonio without the Alamo. Since there were a million tourists trying to get into the museum we opted to explore the grounds around it instead. Enjoy some pictures of our adventure! The picture below shows when Jenn learned not to sit on a cactus!

Texas Vacation Part 3: Harry Potter

We had to see Harry Potter while we were in town so we went to one of the big theaters in San Antonio, The Palladium. It is a fun theater with restaurants, arcades, bars, and even a gelato stand! Here is Jenn with the tickets, she is very excited.

Before the movie..

Katelyn was not feeling very well today, as you can tell from the pic above and below. While she was sleeping off her fever we were.....

Surfing the internet and playing with Nick and Katelyn's iphones. Mostly Jenn was just downloading application after application on Katelyn's phone and killing the battery while I updated my facebook! Don't worry, Katelyn felt better the next day and we were off to more adventures!

Texas Vacation Part 2: Eats

Here is a look at our trip through some of our meals! We started out with pizza....

Moved on to Sea World cookies (shaped like whales tails)...

Had some yummy lemonade at the outlet malls...

and of course Chick-fil-a!!!!!!!!!!! (multiple times ;) .....

We had to eat at the Riverwalk so we chose Rita's for some TexMex

Katelyn told me to not order water from the restaurants in San Antonio because the water is gross so here I am drinking my Dr. Pepper while waiting forever for our food. It was a good thing there was a fan blowing towards us because it was really hot outside and we were eating on the patio!

Last but not least we ate at Rudy's Country Store "The Worst Bar-B-Q in Texas." Apparently no trip to San Antonio is complete without Rudy's. Here are some pics of us enjoying it...
